![]() The lineup of bikes getting packed into the trailer for the move half way across the country. The nice selection of Hoffman BMX bikes, Giant mountain bikes and the SE Bikes Big Ripper are relocating to Kansas City, KS! The Kagy crew is ready for a change and can't wait to have family close to them on a regular basis.
![]() Nathan Wessel of Wesselbuilt took a break from building ramps to build an enclosure for Chad's Counts Kustom's chopper. Hope Kansas is ready for Chad and his collection of toys!
![]() Woodward Camp has a new pump track on the side of the hill above the wakeboard lake. The foundation of all freestyle riding is your pump. If you learn to pump efficiently you don't have to pedal much after dropping into most parks. I'm hoping Woodward builds phase 2 on the pump track because it was so much fun with the basic set up you see in the photo. Notice the Asterisk knee brace helping to keep Chad's knee and new ACL intact.
![]() Chad just returned home from another successful Bikes Over Baghdad tour. This tour stopped in Niger, Africa to do 3 shows and then a quick stop in Djibouti, Africa for 1 more show. This image is Chad doing a fast plant on a tanker in Djibouti to test the limits of what his heels and knee are capable of doing. Seems to be healing well! Thank you Texas Pete & Armed Forces Entertainment for making the tour possible. Thank you Rockwell Time and Richer Poorer for donating product for Chad to hand out during the shows. The troops appreciate the entertainment as well as the new gear. The B.O.B. team is looking forward to supporting the troops again with another tour happening later this year. Can't wait to see what bases the boys go to and what they get to do with the troops!

![]() X Games Austin 2015 was a rough event for Chad. He crashed during practice a few hours before the Big Air event. One of the drawbacks to being a creative rider that always wants to bring new tricks to events in pursuit of a gold medal and progressing BMX is injury. Chad was pushing his limits to pull a Frontflip Flair on the Big Air quarter-pipe. With a small last-second adjustment/mistake he fell about 32 feet to the bottom of the ramp breaking both heels and fracturing a vertebrae in his lower back. After two surgeries and a week in an amazing Austin Hospital Chad was able to travel home. The comforts of being home are uplifting and allow the Kagy family to get into a routine. As you can see Chad is comfortable on his couch with wheelchairs close by to get around the house, computer and electronics on hand for entertainment, Fender bass guitars next to the couch for a creative outlet, and a GoPro close by to document the new adventure. Chad is staying positive and motivated to heal quickly to get back to a faster paced life and more entertaining adventures. Next up for Chad is attending the Florida Georgia Line concert in Philly/New Jersey to hang out with Tom, Sean, Derek and the rest of the crew. Keep an eye out for some creative GoPro images from the concert. Feel free to reach out to Chad with words of encouragement through social media.

This is an interesting view from Chad's GoPro Hero 3+ on a sunny day in Travis Pastrana's backyard. The practice days on the new massive ramp were epic. Watching Jolene VanVugt learn to double flip into the air bag was monumental for women in action sports. James Foster sent quite a few quad flips into the air bag preparing to film for Action Figures The Movie presented by Travis Pastrana. I hope this angle of Chad in the middle of a Superman Flip makes you tilt your head a little to figure out the position he has put himself in while 40 feet in the air. Livewire Construction and Wesselbuilt with a great crew were able to construct three of the largest ramps we have ever seen in a matter of a few days. A huge "thank you" goes out to Ron Kimler, Nate Wessel, and Combover Steve for accommodating all the last minute changes to the ramp. When the wether warms up this spring there will most likely be some ridonculous sessions on this jump considering it has a dirt landing now. We have also heard about a few new additions in the planning stages so keep an eye out for photos and video of the adventures.
Some big news has been announced by ESPN about X Games. Big Air Doubles is a new event that has been added to the line-up. The invites haven't been sent out yet but Chad is hoping to get three invites for the X Games Austin, TX event June 4-7. 2015 is looking like a busy year for Chad with two Nitro Circus Live tours in North America, Bikes Over Baghdad, Woodward sumer camp, X Games, and more. We will keep you up to date with the schedules, events, and fun photos. Hope you're all doing well and don't forget that you can connect with Chad on social media.

With a GoPro Hero3+ attached to the front peg of his bike, Chad flies 35-40 feet in the air at the Pastrana compound. There is a new movie being filmed by the fearless Nitro Circus leader Travis Pastrana. Check out the hashtag #ActionFiguresTheMovie to see photos of some of the stunts, practice sessions, ramps being built and locations. Life in the Kagy household is going great with the new addition of Brooklyn Rae Kagy. Chad and Kelly always had multiple projects going at the same time but now there is one more Kagy helping out. Chad has been talking about his upcoming schedule:
October 18 & 19 - Talledega, Alabama for the Sprint Cup NASCAR race
Two Bikes Over Baghdad tours on dates we can't tell you and in "undisclosed locations" in South East Asia. We support the troops and if you would like to get involved with a sponsorship of the tour to help make it happen, show the troops some love, and earn some life long fans of your brand… let Chad know on one of his social media outlets.

2014 has been an adventure for Chad! He has been busy hopping around in leg brace since crashing at X Games. He picked up an Xpro heli quad-copter to make his GoPro edits a little better than before. It's always good to get creative no matter what you're doing. The Superman Seat Grab is from a riding session at Travis Pastrana's house not too long ago. Nothing feels like flying over a park like superman! Possible upcoming events for Chad are Crankworx in Whistler, Canada and keep your eye's open for the next Nitro Circus Tour. Until those events happen Chad will be at Woodward Camp riding bikes and Crazy Carts, filming for the next few GoPro edits and enjoying the family time with his new daughter.

Summer is in full swing and Chad is keeping extra busy. X Games changed host locations for the first time in a long time and went to Austin, TX. The time frame for Chad to be in Austin was short with the due date of his daughter being right in the middle of the event. With a short trip planned and new tricks ready to happen it was bound to be an interesting adventure. Unfortunately during the vert competition on Thursday night Chad crashed and fractured his kneecap in his first run. Being stubborn and tough he rode his second run in vert that night. Being even more stubborn he refused to give up and after having his knee drained decided to ride the Big Air event on Saturday night. "I came here to put on a good show and ride in two events, a little pain isn't going to hold me back" said Chad. The GoPro edit Chad made from his whirlwind trip to Austin is linked below and be warned that there is a scene showing his knee being drained by a large needle. He's home with his family well on his way into healing with bigger and better plans coming up soon. Expect more GoPro edits to come out soon from older adventures at X Games and Nitro Circus now that he has some time at home to work on them.
